Condolence: Wishing to send my deepest condolence to the family. I have many great memories of both Mr. and Mrs. Hodgson. Some memories that come to mind are of Mrs. Hodgson packing Jenny and I honey and peanut sandwiches for picnic lunches. I have many memories wonderful memories my grandmother (Sylvia White) and I having tea and tea and biscuits with Mr. and Mrs. Hodgson. I also have the fond memory of the trading of the tabloids that used to go on between my grandmother, my Auntie Pearl and Mrs. Hodgson.
I used to love spending time at the house on Airport road especially in the basement where all the beautiful rocks and gems were tumbled, polished and turned into works of art. My grandmother and I many times went running to Mrs. Hodgson for her sewing expertise, never denied Mrs. Hodgson always did the repair on the spot with a smile. I very much miss those times and often when thinking of my own grandmother the time spend with the Hodgson family comes to mind. I will always remember the beautiful garden at the house on Airport road and lovely grapes that grew.
Please know how much your family has meant to my family and know that Pearl was one of my grandmothers greatest, oldest and dearest friends.
Condolence: Although I never met Mrs. Hodgson I know Jamie well and would like to offer my condolences to the family. So sorry for your loss Jamie. I am sure you will really miss her. This would be hard so soon after the loss of your brother. Know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
